One More London Place

During the living labs project on L3, the client identified the need to fully refurbish the existing washrooms on both the East and West floors.
The scope included the strip out of washroom flooring, lighting, walls, urinals, mirrors, among other items across the 6 washrooms. TSB took on the challenge and started surveying, scoping, and designing at very short notice while adhering to the overall project timelines.

TEAMWORK - KEY TO SUCCESS

TSB focused on delivering two simultaneous projects within the same area, ensuring timely completion within budget. More in-house resources were called upon at short notice to self-deliver the refurbishment within 6 weeks, all while adhering to social distancing and COVID measures. The collaboration among engineers from various disciplines to maintain high standards was a significant achievement.

PROJECT VALUE, SIZE & DURATION

The project covered Level 3 on both East & West floors with a project start date of 24th January 2022 and handed over on the 6th of March 2022.

THE TASK HAND

Over 10 skilled TSB engineers, joiners, decorators, & electricians were allocated to the project along with a dedicated site supervisor and overseeing project manager. Daily briefings ensured progress was communicated to the client, adhering to the programme of works and design brief from the client’s architect and designers.

ABOVE & BEYOND

Full decoration works on walls, ceilings, skirting, doors, and cubicles to uplift existing quality to a higher finish. Installation of light pistachio-colored vinyl flooring with matching wallpaper to brighten up the space. Electrical works including rewiring of lighting, installation of new hand dryers, standalone mirrors with integrated lights, and new lighting within the cubicle space. Removal and reconstruction of existing walls and nibs to receive new hexagon ceramic tiles. Joinery works to upgrade existing vanity drawer units, complementing the existing vanity tops with additional plumbing works.
