OUR WORK

Nobel House

Nobel House is a Grade II listed building in St. James’s, London.
Works were implemented by TSB direct labour with no subcontractors required for this project. The onsite team was directed by our site supervisor as per the agreed Programme of works and coordinated by the Project Manager and senior management.
A fantastic working relationship was formed with the client and the buildings maintenance team ensuring a smooth transition throughout the project.

PROJECT VALUE, SIZE & DURATION

A growing company, requiring larger office workspace to welcome in their new employees, became the occupants of an established government building on Levels 2 to 7.
The proposed decoration scheme was designed to balance the business needs together with a calm working environment.
The existing office area consisted of an open plan layout with two central atriums. Centrally located supporting columns, equally spaced; the office area was divided into five sections, incorporating private offices, meeting rooms, staff kitchen / tea point and break out areas.

THE TASK HAND

The client utilised their existing National Property and Programme Manager for the design elements of the project together with the Director of Building Surveyors to control the budget and variations. The design specifications utilised the existing decoration colour scheme across the existing portfolio, ensuring the colour theme flowed with the office space.
The design specification was stipulated by the client prior to tender.
During the project the client implemented several variations, these were costed and agreed by the client, then implemented by TSB at the agreed timeline.
The TSB ‘Request for Information’ process was utilised by the project manager to ensure there were no delays to the programme and changes were documented for clarity.
